Project Description:
Atrisco Heritage Academy High School is located 2 miles west of the intersection of Coors and Rio Bravo; the school was built in the rapidly growing Southwest Mesa area on 65 acres of land and will be home to approximately 2,600 students by the year 2012. The new 278,471 square feet high school is a state-of-the-art college prep facility includes 6 learning academies: International Business, Marketing and Languages Academy; Law and Public Policy Academy; Health and Social Sciences Academy; ABQ Studios Filmmaking and Technology Academy; and Culinary Arts and Hospitality Academy.
Yearout Mechanical installed a four pipe system for heating and cooling, acid waste lines, chlorination system for potable water and 12 air handling units for the three distinct areas that included 12 separate buildings.
