Project Description:
Converted ~40,000 sq. ft. of the 2nd floor into Class 1000 clean rooms, while maintaining the facilities operations on the 1st floor and rest of the 2nd floor. All shutdowns occurred at night and on weekends to ensure the facility stayed operational during construction. Yearout Mechanical did all new medical gas piping, process piping, new drains, new steam system, new chilled water system, installed 5 new Air Handling Units ranging in size from 60,000cfm to 30,000cfm. We installed all new duct work for fan powered HEPA air filtration system, installed an Ultra Pure Water system, and installed many fan coil units for heating. This fast track project was completed in 4 months while maintaining the facilities daily operation.
