Project Description:
Construction of the new 218,000 square foot, three-story Hewlett-Packard Customer Service and Technical Support Center. This Design/Build project is on over 17acres in the new downtown Rio Rancho city center area. The Hewlett-Packard Center will continuously employ 1,350 employees by the end of 2012 and hopes to grow from there. The Hewlett-Packard projects has six 105 ton each air handling units, 2 boilers, 210 VAV’s and 171,000 lbs of duct work installed.
Unique challenges:
Fast track project requires superior coordination between trades and poses a challenge in scheduling. Material handling on this scale and speed expertly coordinated to ensure the fast track schedule was met and kept on pace.
