Project Description:
Laguna 66 Casino, which was built 16 miles West of Albuquerque on I-40, is approximately 160,000 square feet of gaming, restaurants, offices, and auditorium space. This design/build facility is served by gas fired rooftop air handling units utilizing 100% out side air and exhaust to provide superior smoke removal. The outside air is introduced to the building through heat recovery exchangers and indirect evaporative cooing for energy cost savings. A domestic water treatment building provides quality water from the wells to an 800,000 gallon tank for use throughout the entire site. There is also an adjacent Laguna Travel center providing fuel, showers, groceries, and prepared food to travelers passing by on I-40.
