Project relevance:
- This project is relevant because it is located within the same facilities as the proposed project.
- The project was constructed under the same specifications and standards as the proposed facility.
- Some of the same systems we included in this project as the proposed project.
- Work around current operating systems and within changing security requirements was performed successfully and without incident.
The project consisted of constructing a 600 sq ft. concrete reinforced structure with blow off panels. In addition there was the installation of specialty piping (PN2), Teflon coated acid exhaust, electrical, fire suppression, and a make up air unit.
Unique Technical Challenges Related to Project:
Sandia / Carter Burgess did a great job up front with the design of this project. This eliminated the “ unique challenges”. We had many “ normal challenges” that you see on all projects. Sandia and our construction team worked very well together to address the challenges and insure a successful project for all involved.
