The Construction Manager (CM) is responsible for planning, directing and coordinating all activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems.  Participate in the conceptual development of facility improvement construction projects and oversee the projects organization, scheduling, budgeting and implementation.  Responsible for the completion of each project in a timely and profitable manner.

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate construction project activities to meet deadlines and maximize productivity.
  • Work with Project Director to develop scopes of work, facilitate site visits, and evaluate proposals from Sub-contractors and vendors.
  • Responsible for all BIM activities and detailing in collaboration with BIM Coordinator.
  • Investigate damage, accidents, or delays at construction sites to ensure that proper construction procedures are being followed.
  • Compile progress billings for the project and assist with payment, as needed.
  • Develop construction schedules
  • Attend site meetings and work with the Owner/Customer to clearly communicate expectations
  • Be a resource to the Project Development Team in developing projects
  • Develop or implement quality control programs.
  • Inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes and environmental or other regulations.
  • Manage activities during warranty time-frame.
