Kirtland Air Force Base Sustainment Facilities 1 & 2

The Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC), Nuclear Sustainment and Integration Center (TSTIC) is a Design/Build project with the US Army Corp of Engineers at Kirtland Air Force Base. The AFNWC has primary and secondary command and control nodes for the real time tracking, command control, monitoring and inventory control. The TSTIC offers a true situational awareness atmosphere. Engineered for 24/7/365 operations, the facility incorporates a high level of redundancy and fault tolerance, the Center has specialized, critical information technology, as well as sophisticated electrical and mechanical critical systems. Yearout Mechanical’s success on the first facility (Phase 1), let to us being a team member on the second facility (Phase 2), which was almost identical to Phase 1.
