Skids and Modular Systems

Yearout Fabrication provides efficient fabrication solutions for complicated skids and modular systems through prefabrication. Not only does this reduce job-site congestion, but also affords the ability to test components in a controlled facility. We have the capability to produce single and multi-skid systems.

Yearout Fabrication Services

Yearout Fabrication is a commercial fabricator with over 60,000 square feet of production space. We handle services ranging from light gauge ductwork and trim-out to heavy gauge piping and structural steel fabrication. Our welders are certified in accordance with ASME and AWS welding standards, and we are a proud member of the National Certified Pipe Welding Bureau (NCPWB) and the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors National Association (SMACNA).

In addition to standard commercial work, we are also certified and proficient with a wide range of plastics and specialty metals, including fiberglass, HDPE, CPVC, Teflon, aluminum, stainless steel, and medical grade copper.

Our sheet metal fabrication facility builds all HVAC components in accordance with the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractor’s National Association (SMACNA). In addition to being certified to construct structural steel components ranging from carbon to stainless steel, we are capable of producing aluminum, stainless steel, galvanized and black iron ductwork.

Our sheet metal shop utilizes two computerized plasma tables and integrated AutoCAD software to guarantee precision cuts on all of our material. We are also capable of detailing any mechanical system in our shop, as well as providing fabrication drawings for your project.

Our piping fabrication facility builds all systems in accordance with the Pipe Fabricator’s Institute (PFI) Yellow Label Standards. Yearout Fabrication is certified to structural steel components and skids ranging from carbon to stainless steel, and is capable of fabricating aluminum, stainless steel alloys, galvanized, Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) pipe, High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE), Polypropylene (PPR) and acid waste systems.

Our piping shop utilizes a WATTS plasma cutting table, Miller Pipeworx and Tip-Tig welding machines to ensure quality and accuracy of all of our systems. Our facility utilizes pipe positioners and overhead cranes which eliminate position welds and allow for Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW-P or MIG) Process that is not possible for field welding. We also have an American Welding Society (AWS) Certified Weld Inspector (CWI) on staff to maintain consistent quality and accuracy.

We are capable of building many structural steel components in accordance with the American Welding Society (AWS) D 1.1 Code. This permits us to furnish stands, racks, skids and mounting components for all of the systems that we build.

Yearout Fabrication has experience building specialty filter racks, security bars and pump skids for URENCO USA’s National Enrichment Facility (NEF) in New Mexico. This project is a Uranium Enrichment Facility under the authority of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and is operating under the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Nuclear Quality Program.
